Allan Detsky is Professor of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation and Medicine at the University of Toronto. He was a practicing general internist/hospitalist for over 40 years. He was also Chief of General Internal Medicine at U of T and then Chief of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital.
