Shaida Dusenge Kamali, MLS (ASCP), is a second-year medical student at the University of Oklahoma with a passion for Geriatrics. Originally from Kigali, Rwanda, she moved to Oklahoma for college, earning a Bachelor's in Medical Laboratory Science. Shaida recently completed the MSTAR program at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, focusing on improving healthcare for older adults. She works as a Medical Laboratory Scientist in Transfusion Medicine at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. In her free time, she enjoys watching Korean dramas, going to the gym, and spending time with her brother.
